Alvaro Ayala has successfully defended his PhD thesis with a very compelling presentation on glacier surface sublimation in the Andes!
On 9 March 2017, Alvaro Ignacio Ayala Ramos successfully presented and defended his PhD thesis with the title "The role of surface sublimation in the summer mass balance of glaciers in the subtropical semiarid Andes".
Alvaro will be working as PostDoc at the ETH institute VAW in the Glaciology group.
